TRAVELLING BY CAR

From the south (better route for large vehicles)

M1 – junction 29 — signed for Chesterfield.
Follow A617 to Chesterfield to roundabout at the end. (4-5 miles).
Take last exit from roundabout — A61 Sheffield.
At second roundabout still follow A61 quarter of a mile take exit signed Dronfield/Unstone.

Follow this road for 1-2 miles into Unstone Green —
just through Unstone Green turn right signposted Hundall/Apperknowle (Crow Lane).

From the bottom of Crow Lane, go past the war memorial, through Unstone village,
round the bend to the left, ignoring the road on your right, signed Hundall. Unstone Grange is on your right a short way up the hill.

From the north (for larger vehicles the J29 route above is easier)

M1 Junction 30. Go West towards Sheffield on A6135 for 3 miles.
Reach traffic lights, turn left onto A6052.

Keep on the main road. First it becomes A6056 — then the A6056 goes off right
but stay on the main road to a T-junction at the end, by the Travellers Rest pub.

Turn right into Apperknowle and first left into New Road which becomes Crow Lane as you
drop down a steep hill. After 400 yards look out for the Unstone Grange sign on your left
hand side.

From Sheffield

Take A61 South to Chesterfield — (Chesterfield Road) — follow this road up to
a large roundabout (Meadowhead roundabout) – you can also reach this roundabout from
the outer ring road. From this roundabout take A61 Chesterfield to the next roundabout
(half mile) and then take second exit to Gosforth Valley — (not the 3rd exit which is
signed Unstone) drive through Dronfield and half a mile beyond Dronfield go under
a railway bridge — just beyond here turn left onto Crow Lane.

From the bottom of Crow Lane, go past the war memorial, through the village, round the bend to the left, ignoring the road on your right, marked Hundall. Unstone Grange is then the first entrance on the right as you go up the hill.
